- Render asset management clerical support: Bar code new assets.
- Compile and maintain records (e.g asset records/databases).
- Check and issue furniture, equipment and accessories to components and individuals.
- Identify redundant, non-serviceable and obsolete equipment for disposal.
- Conduct assets verification.
- Update the inventory list.
- Order stores: Place orders for goods.
- Receive and verify goods from suppliers.
- Capture goods in the system or item registers.
- Issue stores: Receive Logis requisition form.
- Check and verify the form with the requester.
- Issue goods to end users.

- Update and maintain register of suppliers.

must be submitted on a duly completed prescribed Z83 application for employment form (2021 version) obtainable from any public service department or can be downloaded from www.dpsa.gov.za. Applications must be accompanied by a detailed CV.
Applicants are not required to submit copies of qualifications and other relevant documents on application except when applying through the erecruitment system. All fields in Part A, Part C and Part D of the Z83 form should be completed.
In Part B, all fields should be completed in full. Part E, F & G applicants often indicate refer to CV or see attached, this is acceptable as long as the CV has been attached and provides the required information.
Applicants with foreign qualifications remain responsible for ensuring that their qualifications are evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Successful incumbent will be expected to sign a performance agreement within one month after assumption of duty.
The successful candidate will also be required to disclose his or her financial interests in accordance with the prescribed regulations. All shortlisted candidates will be subjected to a security clearance and verification of qualifications.
All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment.
The recommended candidate for appointment will be subjected to Personnel Suitability Check for security reasons. Failure to comply with the above requirements will result in the disqualification of the application.
The Department reserve the right not to make any appointment(s) to the posts advertised. The employment decision shall be informed by the Employment Equity Plan of the Department.

Directions on how to fill in the New Z83 Form NB: Candidate should note the following information on the new Z83 application form: All fields of the Z83 are compulsory, and the applicant’s signature is mandatory. The Z83 must be completed in full and signed for an applicant to be considered.
The form must be completed in manner that provides sufficient information about the candidate, and the post applies for by completing all relevant fields. The questions related to conditions that prevent re-appointment under part F must be answered, it requires an applicant to specify if any may prevent reemployment in the public service.
Applicants currently employed by the public service do not need to complete the section intended for those seeking reemployment. The Z83 form must be completed in full and signed in order for an applicant to be considered.
Part A, B, C and D applicants may leave questions blank, mark them as not relevant, and uses dashes or N/A if they do not apply to them or the position they are applying for. The initials on the second page, where the signature is situated, are not mandatory.

Please note: It is the responsibility of a person in possession of a foreign qualification to furnish the Department with an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) only when shortlisted. It will be expected of candidates to be available for interviews on a date and time and at a place as determined by the Department. Please note if you have not heard from us within three (03) months after the closing, please accept that your application was unsuccessful.
NB: Senior Management Pre-entry Programme Certificate: No applicant shall be recommended for appointment without producing a Certificate of completion for the Nyukela Programme (SMS Pre-Entry Programme) offered by the National School of Government which can be accessed via this link: https://www.thensg.gov.za. All shortlisted candidates for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical exercise and interview.
Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity. Appointment of the successful candidate(s) will be strictly subject to the Personnel Suitability Checks results/outcome before appointment.
Failure to comply with the above requirements will result in the disqualification of the application. The applicants should state the applicable reference number with the relevant post.

The Z83 must be completed in full and page 2 duly signed. A clear indication of the post and reference number that is being applied for must be indicated on your Z83.

Certified copies of qualifications and other relevant documents will be requested from shortlisted candidates on or before the day of the interview.
