  • Supervise and coordinate HR administration within the College.
  • Administer conditions of service, remuneration, leave and employee benefits.
  • Process and monitor appointments, transfers, promotions, terminations and other personnel transactions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records and employee files.
  • Process and monitor PERSAL transactions and resolve personnel and salary-related queries.
  • Provide HR administrative support to recruitment and selection, performance management and other HR functions.
  • Advise employees and management on HR policies, conditions of service and applicable legislation.
  • Compile HR statistics, reports and submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with DHET HR policies, Public Service prescripts and applicable legislation.
  • Assist with HR audits and compliance requirements.
  • Supervise, allocate and monitor the work of HR staff.
  • Promote effective, professional and customer-focused HR service delivery.
  • Perform other related HR duties assigned by the supervisor.
